If you’ve ever driven the opposite
direction or passed up an ATM just to avoid an ATM surcharge fee, you’re not
alone. You’re among the many that would
rather pay the price in gas than pay a bank’s ATM surcharge fee. Fortunately, Community Financial Credit Union
members have convenient access to their accounts through Automated Teller
Machine (ATM) networks that spans the United States and a number of
international locations.
Community Financial is a partner of the Alliance One and CO-OP ATM networks that serve credit union members at thousands of locations. Through this partnership, surcharge-free ATMs are available to credit union members at other affiliated credit unions and select retail outlets such as 7-Eleven, Walgreens and Costco stores. Such ATMs are identifiable by the Alliance One or CO-OP ATM logos. CO-OP ATMs can also be found using the network’s iPhone or Android app or by texting your location to 692667 (MYCOOP). A list of CO-OP ATMs in the area will be sent to your phone.
Community Financial members can also use NYCE network
ATMs across Michigan to make deposits, withdrawals, balance inquiries, and
obtain cash. Members can obtain cash
nationwide at thousands of Cirrus ATMs. However,
NYCE and Cirrus bank-owned ATMs typically charge a fee for non-customer transactions.
Of course, all Community Financial branches have
on-site ATMs that allow members to make deposits, obtain cash, and check
account balances, completely surcharge-free for members. Visit cfcu.org/atms to locate a
surcharge-free ATM near you.
